So don't waste your time on these posts)

-1 star for undersized bushings on my 00 Taco 4x4 V6 even though all other sites say it's a proper rear shock. If you can't order custom bushings or pick them up at your nearest off-road shop, you have a heck of a time fitting them (Pepboys, Oreilly, Autozone, Napa, etc.). don't have what you need) needed so don't waste your time on these points) You may also need additional washers to compensate for the extra thread from the bolt as the hub width is also smaller. Also, the included metal grommets are useless if you find yourself in this exact situation. I recommend you do 1 of 2 things: Drill through the inside of the new bushing so it fits snugly (not too tight, you still want it to be snug). !) the inner diameter of the old bushing is larger. Or take out the new bushing and carefully cut it in half along the center crease. Then make a small bevel on the outside > of the inner hole on 1 part of your sleeve half and < on the inside of the other half of the inner hole. This allows each part to slide more easily on the shaft. Lubricate the shaft and the inside of the bushings. Press or clamp the first part of the hub onto the shaft (you can press with your hand if you did it right), then add the damper and press, then again for the 2nd part of the hub, and then fix the baby. A good C-clamp and a mate would help on the driver's side, it was a lot easier on the passenger's side as I could machine the top hub from the side of the truck instead of under it. Hope that helps. Sorry I didn't post any pictures.
