This paper shredder is perfect for my small apartment and the small amount of paper that needs to be shredded. As others have said, you should cut the paper in half lengthwise or a third across. And only 2 at a time. However, it worked great. I recommend ripping along so that the cuts follow along. With a cut, it's possible someone could just hook up a strip and read the information on one line, which can be useful for a villain. Unlikely, but in this day and age it's better to be safe than sorry. I'm a bit worried about the plastic case, but it has endured quite a long session and is sitting securely in a kitchen drawer. Please note that this is a ship from Japan with a long delivery time. and no pursuit. It arrived in Virginia about 3 weeks after being shipped via USPS.
