First let me tell you that I am a licensed massage therapist and have been a chiropractor for the past 8 years. We've used dozens of units constantly in the office, and this home unit is just as good. It has many settings and you can turn it up or down. It's starting from scratch, so there's nothing surprising. Lately I've been working on heads. I couldn't wait to try it myself. I quit my job at a chiropractor and don't work at a spa so you can't use dozens for free, you had to bring your own. So I played around with all the settings to see what worked for me and then increased it until I could barely stand it. I've been using it longer than I wanted, just restarted it. When I finished I felt a lot better. The next day I woke up with no pain. Felt good all day, wow. Yes it works and works well. I just wish there were more pads, but you can buy more online. I'm glad I bought this one, I'd say it was worth it!
