Review on KYB SM5445 Mount Kit by Elijah Pope

I read in the pre-purchase Q&A that this kit will fit either side when installing new shocks. That is not right. The kit comes with two rubber bushings which at first glance look the same, but in the shock setup there are two bushings ON EACH SIDE. The upper and lower (i.e. on top of the wheel arch in the cab floor and on top of the shock absorber) bushings are not the same. The bottom one is designed to fit on top of the shock leg. The upper one is installed in the cabin on the floor where the shock absorber's threaded tip goes through the wheel arch. It is used to install a nut that screws onto the shock absorber. So you will need two sets if you want to replace the upper and lower rubber bushings when replacing the front shock absorbers.
