OEM BRAKE PADS SHOULD BE REMOVED. It's still difficult to put on even with the original padding removed, but I suppose it's almost impossible to deal with. That's good, because once it's on, it's not going anywhere without effort. The gas pedal became a little lighter, it was not necessary to remove this panel. It just takes a little work and you have good, inexpensive pedals that look great. Overall I would recommend this item. I am definitely satisfied with my purchase.
