I've learned over the years never use wire nuts , if you can make a good solder joint, and cover it with this type of shrink tubing. This makes things a lot easier, especially if you're dealing with a project with multiple connections, you can color the different connections to make sure you're making the right solder connections. As this can be the difference between a bad connection and a burning mess, I have to give 5 stars.
