Review on ๐Ÿš— AIR LIFT 1000 Series Rear Air Spring Kit (Part #60755) by Brian Delgado

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy install and great performance in 1996 Buick Roadmaster Wagon

The automatic leveling system stopped working after 19 years so on the recommendation of several internet forums I decided to fit it to strengthen my tired coil springs. In some YouTube videos it was quite difficult to insert the pockets into the springs. That may be the case on some cars, but mine took about 10 minutes of struggle and some soapy water to install. Connect lines to lines. This Buick required the bags to go down. Look at the instructions. I installed the Schrader valve behind the filler door for inflation. Right now I have an unloaded car pressure of 20psi which is about the same. When I load it I add more air. One final note - routing the air ducts so that they are not adjacent to the exhaust pipes requires some thought. And the included clamps for mounting heat shields on the exhaust pipes are too big for the pipes. You will need small clips to attach them.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion
