Review on 📐 Amazon Basics Paper Trimmer: 12-Inch Blade, Cuts 10 Sheets, Efficient Office Tool by Heather Shaw

I didn't like this trimmer. I didn't like the safety manual either. Regular copier paper does not cut straight. It left an uncut end when I folded a sheet of copy paper and tried to trim it to the right width. This trimmer worked on a 50/50 basis. I tried to cut three pieces of regular carbon paper (20lb) and it cut the first time. The second time I tried three pieces, it didn't work and left tails that I had to cut off with scissors. I used it on 140 lb card and it cut very well. I didn't like the security guide. I was so close to the edge of the blade that it wasn't easy to straighten the paper. This made the edges difficult to see, making it difficult to line them up. I didn't like black either. I cannot return this trimmer as I painted part of the base white so the markings can be read. I will only have to use it for thick card stock. Back to the Swingline brand.
