We tried two formulas for our LO (it had to be supplemented in the hospital while we were working on BF) and we tried Enfamil and Similac. He drank them, but he always had gas and vomited frequently. I tried Enfamil once and I can tell you it was the most disgusting thing I've ever tried! In addition to not giving babies cow's milk (they don't have the enzymes needed to digest lactose), my son also suffered from this disgusting concoction. I immediately tried to find alternatives and since he was exclusively BF up until then I had time to research. I chose this brand as it was the same as his food (which he loved) and when it came time to cut down on the BF sessions it was ready to go. He had less gas, burped less, I knew he was getting the extra nutrition he needed, and it tasted better (more like real milk but less lactose!). We have used him for all bf/weaning months and he is now 1 year old. He still drinks his formula from time to time and still likes it. I wholeheartedly recommend this formula to breastfeeding moms (who need the occasional bottle), formula-feeding moms, and weaning moms. This is a great organic, non-GMO, low lactose, fortified formula and we love it! Thanks Earth's Best for getting it right!
