I had no way of measuring thickness or measuring squareness but only one hold could get a threaded bolt. The remaining holes were of different sizes and very poorly carved. So I can only surmise that if this company didn't pay attention to the simple task of drilling and tapping, they probably didn't pay attention to dimensions or squareness either. If you're looking for a bolt-on combo block, look elsewhere. This is the only review I have ever written for a product. When buying, I expect quality. This purchase was a lot of money. The only thing I will leave is the plastic case. I will go to Granger to find quality and pay a little more. Accuracy usually means more money. Everything is different here. You get what you pay for. universal constant.
