Great quality, happy with it one hundred percent!

Initially, a quiet and reliable HDD was needed, performance is not important, because what kind of performance an HDD can have. That means low revs like 5400 RPM with as few plates as possible. And although SMR is scolded, it is precisely at this expense that the number of plates is reduced, which means a decrease in heating and vibration. On the other hand, because of this, if you need an archive disk, then it is not bad, but if you need a consistently productive HDD, this is clearly not the best choice. For those who are interested, I took a snapshot of the current CrystalDiskInfo and CrystalDiskMark statistics. However, keep in mind that CrystalDiskMark gives different statistics each time, and this despite the fact that the HDD is not busy with anything other than the current test.

Pros

1) Quiet, barely rustling when recording, and it’s not audible at all, despite the fact that it is essentially in a server basket that goes outside installed in the desktop instead of three 5.25" slots. 2) Does not vibrate, the body does not tremble, the basket does not tremble and it does not tremble. 3) The coldest HDD that is installed in the desktop, at a starting temperature after loading the operating system at 28 ° C, with moderate work, it warms up to 33 ° C, and drops to 32 ° C without work, but here you need to consider that the server basket has cooling, and it is located just opposite the fan. 4) Since it has not yet broken down after 7499 hours of operation, I will now conditionally consider it relatively reliable, but this is not accurate. Nowadays, there are no reliable HDDs, there are only those that have not yet broken down and have already broken down. 5) It has not yet started to fail or require to clean the contacts, as it was with that old series of green WD 2TB. 6) Of course, the main and only advantage is the low price for the amount of memory compared to SSD.

Cons

1) Low and unstable speed of work, therefore tests on reviews of new devices are irrelevant, as well as mine. 2) In continuation of the previous paragraph, not very multitasking. It can hang even while showing folders, for example, if you give it various tasks in parallel, such as checking torrents. 3) If it eventually breaks, it will be bad, for all HDDs, the main drawback is durability.
