Review on MINCL/Sun Adjustable Vision Multifocal Progressive Reading Glasses with Photochromic Lenses by Jane Burns

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It takes some getting used to, but it's worth it.

I love having progressive lenses that are available without the cost of a prescription and regular eyewear sales. I don't think their upper is completely free of distortion, but any distortion is negligible and I wear them all day with no issues. I also feel that the reading portion is not magnified as much as other glasses I have with the same correction. The earphones are made in such a way that they only rest on one point in front of my ear and can irritate me there after a long day in them. Minor issues aside, I'm happy with these glasses. Like I said, I wear them all day and I'm glad I have them. You have served me well. Removing the lines from the lenses took just a few minutes with the included little scraper. The photochromic function also suits me. They don't get super dark, but get dark enough to take out the highlights. They get darker and lighter too quickly. The shape is attractive for my face but I will see if the company has other styles that are more comfortable for my head/ear shape and try those as well. However, I haven't tried adjusting them to fit my ears more comfortably. I used to wear progressive shoes, so it only took me a few days to get used to them again. They are very comfortable.

Pros
  • Photochromic lenses turn gray in the sun, they are usually clear lenses, so they are suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
