Yes I don't think they sent me the wrong product and if so they have lowered the quality A LOT. All they sent me was a roll. There were no instructions included and there was no protective film as stated in the product description. I sprayed it with soapy water as directed and all went well. First. Then whenever I touched it, it slipped or blistered and was just a nuisance to work with. I've seen a lot of reviews using it on Mandalorian or motorcycle helmets so thought it might match the Spartan helmet I'm working on. Apparently not. At least it's easy to remove (too easy, unfortunately) so it didn't ruin the visor I was trying to attach it to.
