These are 100% cotton which is hard to come by but be prepared for shrinkage, especially down the length. Very light and breathable. A little stiff at first but after a few washes they will soften up. There is elastic at the bottom of the legs which is also hard to find (prevents legs riding up at night while sleeping). The elasticated hem makes them look and feel like joggers. The colors of the plaid are beautiful and easy to combine with the shirt.
