So for starters it's worth watching a few videos on replacing the screen the first time I messed up and broke the glass. The support is great even if it's your fault they will send you a new replacement screen. Note the following things: Touch ID won't work if you don't have the original home button because Apple makes it very difficult to charge an insane price to repair the iPad itself.
