I like this press so much I bought a backup, and the new one arrived with a cleaning brush, scoop, and extra filters--nice bonus. I've had others that either left too much liquid in the bottom (this one squeezes out nearly all of it) or let too many grounds through the filter (I use a fine grind even though I know coarse is recommended for french press). The tall/narrow design takes up less space than fatter presses. You won't get more than 12 ounces, but that's a perfect up of coffee.I sometimes use this to make a concentrated cold brew, then add boiling water. A generous 4 scoops of grounds steeped overnight will make 4 cups of coffee that way.
