If it's a computer part, I don't read the instructions. Guilty. I bought 1 to see if it works. After adding the SAS 2.5 drives to the case, I attempted to mount the case into the case. Like an afternoon at the buffet, the cage was REALLY cozy. A creaking sound was heard when plugged in. When I made the second row it didn't fit. I was pissed that it didn't work until I realized the 2 packs of screws that came with it had different heads. The pan head screws are for the frame and the button head screws are for attaching the case to the computer case. After replacing the screws, it fits like a glove! My observations: Why use 2 Molex connectors for power and not SATA power? When attaching it to the case, USE ONLY the provided screws. If you use something else, the screws protrude into the case and prevent the drive cages from sliding into the case; or cages to slide out. The description corresponds to the disc height of 15 mm as MAX. There was no extra space on my 2.5 SAS drives. Finally I have a SAS 12G card and the description says 6G. I can tell you the card config page reads this as 12G and I'm getting >7000MB/s write speed. I don't know what sustainable writing is, but it's better than long-life SSD, infinitely better than SSD.
