Poor quality Chinese products

The last Yi update intentionally reduced the number of days you can watch your videos again to sell you cloud services... before you could go back a whole month , if the space on the SD card allows it. that, now you can't go back for 4 days.... go back and go, also big security problems, they are spying on you

Amazing camera! for camera and photo

I travel a lot so I wanted to install a camera to keep track of everything while I was away. Quality in pitch darkness. I thought night vision was really too dark to use. Not so! I like it! I experience no delays when entering the cell. At the moment I only use an SD card for recording. Maybe there will be an update for the cloud soon. Very happy with it.

Great picture quality etc. etc.

This is my third Yi camera. After a few days of use, I bought two more Yi 1080P cameras because it's their only 2K camera. I was very happy with the pan, tilt and tracking of this camera. My only downside is that it doesn't cover the space directly below. The front of the device had to be cut so that the lens could be aimed directly in front of and below the camera. In addition, the image quality is excellent and the price-performance ratio is right.

YI Home Video Camera

Complete rubbish! Have both cameras. Nobody will scan the barcode. The other scans but doesn't connect to the wifi. Followed each set of troubleshooting steps. Nothing works. All I can do is a wifi connection error. I moved my phone and camera 3 inches from the router and it still doesn't work. My router is 6 months old. Everything else is connected. Don't buy these cameras. Revain should remove them from its product line and return them to the company they are sold to.

Awkward to use: camera and photo

Extremely disappointed with this product. Setup was easy enough, but it doesn't feed into my phone. As you can see, when I go into settings it boots up and eventually just kicks me out. I signed up for a free 7-day trial of iCloud storage. Little did I know it would be a fixed cost. So I'm disappointed in that regard too. I have a short clip on my ceiling fan and after adjusting it nothing happened. Doesn't record anything. There is no live broadcast on my cell phone.

Outstanding 2K security camera.

Easy installation. The instructions are not well written. I had to watch some videos on U-Tube to help with the installation. The pictures are very clear. Night vision is excellent. The camera is very light. I intend to use this in my new mobile hotspot RV in the future. Tested at home, video quality is good. The only exception is the very late traffic report. The phone software app will notify you after about 10 minutes of motion detection, by which time the intruder is long gone. Maybe use a…

It's not scary but there is something to do

Set up was easy. Picture quality is good when HD is on. The included wall mounts aren't very good - they place the camera at a 90 degree angle horizontally. position and the camera is not suitable for this unless it is mounted very high. The sound from the internal speaker is barely audible. However, the sound from the microphone and monitor is sufficient. The PC application is not working at full capacity. I can't move the camera. Ultra reliable camera: CCTV

I have several different Yi/Kami cameras and this one in particular is the Swiss Army knife of home cameras. The video quality is excellent, the follow/track mode really works and covers all areas. It has additional storage space for videos, cloud storage "for a fee, of course" or a micro SD memory card. Has audio detection and shows channels on my Alexa devices.
