I wish the remote unit was a little stronger. I dropped it on the tile floor and a piece broke off, but it was cosmetic. I put it back on and there were no problems with the device at all. We also used it in heavy rain. I only use one setup but the unit can be expanded to accommodate two dogs. This works fine for our use. My dog rushes to the door when he hears cars so let's practice that. I have a MOTOROLA passive vibrating collar which is ok but happens to work. This block does not work even if the dog scratches, itches, etc. I am happy with this purchase and recommend it
