Works as good as the original most of the time. My vacuum presses it against the bottom of the trash can to keep it in place. This one is a little shorter, not much, but just enough so it doesn't sit still. The suction power is just as good as the original, it seems more durable. I cleaned it with compressed air and it's still in shape. I just wish it would snap better. When I get into a dusty area, dust is sometimes thrown out of the exhaust. That's usually good. I added styrofoam tape and so far so good.
