I bought this and 2 other receivers for our church hall. We installed 3 TVs and for some events it's really better to have the same picture on all 3 TVs. The transmitter converts the HDMI signal to Ethernet. We then go through a standard Ethernet switch to the 3 outputs used for TVs, each with their own receiver to convert back to HDMI. Every TV has at least 2 HDMI inputs. So if we don't need to stream to all 3 TVs, each can use one of the free HDMI ports or access the input of this system and just turn on the TV.
