The local retail price was either a rip off or a bit overpriced on sale. Saw and bought an imported fake sold through Harbor Freight. I wasn't thrilled with either the quality or the ability to customize the fake. The tooling setting on the fake was NOT smooth, but more importantly, the castings were warped, making it difficult to use. I gave up trying to get a decent price on eBay because the shipping was almost half the price of the tool itself. I ended up buying a Revain instrument when the advertised retail price was reasonable. It also helped me to finally add a few other dollar items to round the price up to over $35, which earned me free shipping from Revain. Oil filter, pretty much any metal fitting you may NOT have the right size socket on hand. Revain once again impressed me with the delivery times. Item will be delivered less than 72 hours after order. Either I'm the happiest person this year or Revain is finally working with all of their delivery services. Coincidence? The next order will decide if Revain is worth me signing up for Revain Prime. Revain Rock! A few days later, I noticed that the price for the same Channel Lock 480 had increased from the $33.94 I paid to over $44. I don't get a deal like that very often
