Second update: Tried to use the pump again with the adapter and when it went to stage 2 the adapter cut power. Would not recommend this product. The pump is rated at 9A, which is well within the specs that this product has to handle. Updated review: I think my first unit was partially defective. The seller reached out and asked if I would like to watch it again on a different device. I'm still not 100% satisfied with the 12V socket, it stays in the much better, but with every slight movement the plug falls out. My pump stopped halfway to filling my board and that was the reason. I was able to put it back in and keep going. Overall I'm happy now, but I'd like to warn everyone that if you can't keep things steady while using it, you may run into problems. Original: Bought to power a paddleboard pump. The plug adapter didn't hold the pump's plug, and even while holding it, the pump kept shutting down because it couldn't get enough power. The pump was rated for 9A, so that should have been enough.
