I ordered it on Thursday, it arrived on Sunday, not bad I would say. I opened it up and found no assembly required, good deal. intuitive. So I took it to change the oil in my 2019 Subaru Forester. Found the correct size tube for the dipstick, pretty easy to figure out, and inserted it with no problem. Now comes the only part I don't care, the hose that attaches to the tank is bigger and very stiff and not long enough in my opinion. . it is then connected to a smaller tube which is lowered onto the dipstick line. The problem is that the tank isn't very high and the big hard pipe isn't very long and creates a lot of stress at the point of connection with the smaller pipe. . You can't put the tank on top of the engine because the pipe is too stiff, and you can leave the tank on the ground because the tank is too short and the line is too short. What you need to do (I figured this part out after the lines separated and the vacuum was lost) is find something to raise the tank high enough to relieve the tension at the point of attachment of the two pipes. As soon as you do that and pump up the backup vacuum it starts sucking right away and does a very good job. After a few minutes, you may need to inflate again. Now here's the part where if you're lazy you can't drain all the oil. Eventually, the oil will slow down and you'll see the barley absorb some and you might think you're done. Nope, carefully pull the hose out about a half inch from the dipstick line and give a few strokes in the tank and the oil will start flowing again. Keep it up and you'll be done soon. When you first inserted this tube into a tube, you were guaranteed to be further than necessary. It was a very neat job and didn't take long. I really didn't like climbing under the car and then cleaning up the mess. I don't care about the design of the spout for emptying the reservoir, especially the fact that the pump handle gets in the way of the spout and can make a mess if you don't pull it out soon and then hold on. That. Would I recommend this product? Absolutely. Would you like some minor changes to it? Absolutely. Would I have bought it if I had just borrowed it to see if I liked it? Absolutely.
