Great but could use improvement.
Actually I bought the same guard but I have a 2.5 cone filter I think. Concluded that unless I use the hex or hex end of the bolt there is no way to tighten them if I try to use a smaller setting. Too bad, but this comment should be a warning to those pondering the same question! I will update after a week of using and measuring temperature differences and improvements!
