Review on 🎨 24 Colors HASHI Soft Oil Pastels - Non-Toxic, Water-Soluble for Artists and Professionals by Gelin Battle

You will receive a box of 24 colors of soft, water-soluble oil pastels. These are thick 'crayons' that easily lay down a good coat of colour. You can then use a wet brush to blend the pattern. This works well on acrylic or oil paper and acts like watercolor pencils. However, I've tried them on canvases and the wet brush just lifted the color rather than blending it. I've also found that it's easiest to produce a dark/dense color with smoother paper than heavily textured paper. Pastel tends to stain only at the top of the texture. The paint diluted with water filled in the gaps but also thinned the paint/varnish creating a lighter colour. I like the choice of colors as they go well with the things I usually draw.
