Review on ☕ ESPRO P0 Ultralight French Press: Vacuum Insulated Coffee and Tea Maker, 16oz, Matte Meteorite Black by Crystal Taylor

Revainrating 2 out of 5

A glorified travel thermos, not a travel mug

Yes, the Espro fits in most car cup holders and will keep your coffee warm for hours, but unlike French Press's much cheaper Travelers mug, you can't do that out of it drink. it is while driving. This Espro is essentially a glorified thermos. The heavier coffee set has the top of the French press lever sticking out, making it difficult to drink from the lower thermos while walking or sitting, let alone while driving. No wonder the top lid is so long, but with a loop handle, it's not a mug. I gave it a 2 for retaining sediment, making good coffee, and looking pretty slick, but it's not a functional travel mug for millions of drivers and drinkers on the go: shopping, hiking, or jogging. Detaching and cleaning the double stitch system requires a little more work than a standard French press. Finally, it is comparatively expensive at $45 each.
