This is an amazing sounding system and a great price. I've never owned a really expensive stereo, but this little gem sounds amazing to me. I've read some customer reviews and complaints about a "loud clicking pop noise" when turning the device on and off, which I think are grossly exaggerated. It clicks (click/beep/whatever) when turning on and off. But there's nothing wrong with that, and certainly nothing that's deafening or threatens to damage an eardrum or blow out a window. It's audible. What else can I say? And only if the device is switched on or off. Other than that (which I don't really care about) it works GREAT!. That was the solution to my problems. I have a huge music collection on my laptop (duplicated on my desktop). Looking for something to stream music to from my laptop (Desktop @#$!, although supposedly Bluetooth-enabled, is a total failure). I've been looking for a small stereo to do this with for a long time and it was a real disappointment. They all tout their Bluetooth capabilities for streaming from a mobile phone, which is definitely NOT my thing, and if they mention streaming from a computer at all, they'll disagree that it's possible from a laptop or desktop computer. This TUT great. I live in a very small house and don't have much room for anything too big or complex. This is a real gem and for me the perfect solution. To me it sounds as good as any large audio system, takes up little space, can't get any louder without bursting my eardrums. and has all the bass anyone could ever need or want. The comments about the lack of bass completely baffle me. Maybe it's just me?! But today's youngsters seem to need walls and floors to rock out with loud, pounding bass, which I understand only spoils the experience. Maybe it's the only thing they can hear because their hearing has been severely impaired by loud, boomy, muffled, muffled (unnecessary and meaningless) bass? Anyway, if you're looking for a good music experience, buy one of these, you'll love it. Works great with Bluetooth and has all the other options you might need: USB and AUX inputs. And the remote control is a real bonus!
