These boots have no removable insoles or memory foam and are absolutely not rated -30. There is almost no insulation in the sock. If you decide to buy them, go 2 sizes up so you can fit multiple pairs of socks to keep your child's toes warm. If we weren't desperately looking for a pair of boots today, we'd be returning them. I wish we had spent a little more on Sorel or Kamik boots as usual.
