Review on ๐ŸŸ Cuisinart TXAMZ 6-by-6mm Fruit, Vegetable and French Fry Disc: Perfect Fit for your 14-Cup Processor! by Bruce Cavett

Warning! Don't stick to the trunk.

Not held on stem. The blade snaps off the stem and the machine keeps running, forcing the processor to move across the counter as other reviews have stated. I called Cuisinart and made sure it was the right blade for my model. Only used for potatoes. I didn't try any other vegetables because they seemed very unsafe. Not sure how that can happen as the blade snaps onto the handle from below. Revain sends an exchange. I will update within a week. 1 star so far. This is my update: Got a new drive today. Lay 1 russet potato on its side about 3/4 the size of the hopper and start the machine in pulse mode. Worked great. Not so for the second potato. This time the potatoes are the same size when the machine is on. The blade fell off the handle and I had to grab the food processor as it started spinning on the counter and almost fell to the floor. (This is very difficult when you know how hard the classic 14 cup pro is.) I figured my fault was that the CPU was on, so I ran the third potato in pulse mode. This time the window stayed put, but the car started to shake and the potato got stuck halfway. Even extracting the potatoes and trying to recycle them wouldn't make it through, so 1/2 of the discarded potato. I wanted this to work but no luck. Send back. I'm concerned that the tendency for the stem to bind or loosen could damage my processor.
