The disc detaches from the stem. The machine keeps running and jumps around the counter. This should be revised and withdrawn.

It's terrible!

This item would be great if it actually worked. I really needed a cuber and since I had a food processor why not buy a cuber. Wow what a mistake. I should have listened to the people who gave this a bad review. If you can get that dumb thing to stay, that works great, but you'll spend more time getting it back than rolling it. At one point I was afraid that my CPU bowl would break because the machine was jumping over the counter. I don't know why cuisinart hasn't done anything about it, but asโ€ฆ

Works great for my purposes.

As stated in the description, this blade is designed for DLC-7 series food processors. I have a DLC-7 Special Edition processor and it works great. It is not intended for the Elite series. I use it to julienne carrots and other veggies before blanching them for freezing. I don't think that blade will work on french fries. In my opinion the pieces will be too thin even for small potatoes. To my knowledge, Cuisinart doesn't make a julienne blade big enough for french fries. I bought this blade to

Very powerful and great

I like my new food processor. It is very responsive and powerful. It was perfectly packaged, all shiny and brand new. It took a few minutes to get used to how it worked, but after that it was easy. Attaching the blades was a bit fiddly. Remember to press the button on the steering wheel and position it correctly. The first thing I made was salsa and it turned out fantastic. It was about ordering things according to how much processing they should get. For myself I add dried red chilli with some

Warning! Don't stick to the trunk.

Not held on stem. The blade snaps off the stem and the machine keeps running, forcing the processor to move across the counter as other reviews have stated. I called Cuisinart and made sure it was the right blade for my model. Only used for potatoes. I didn't try any other vegetables because they seemed very unsafe. Not sure how that can happen as the blade snaps onto the handle from below. Revain sends an exchange. I will update within a week. 1 star so far. This is my update: Got a new driveโ€ฆ
