Excellent gate. Choose this gate because it is taller than other gates and has a nice top rail style. This gate is very strong, durable, strong and well constructed. I love the stone gray finish. Easy to install but remember NOT to loosen the zip tie holding the gate door to the side until you have measured and installed the gate. This zip tie is under real tension and will hold the gate door to the side extension so you can measure, screw the tabs to the wall or doorway and secure the gate BEFORE you cut the last zip tie. If you accidentally cut this zip tie you will need help to tie the two sections together and use one of your own zip ties to rejoin them so you can proceed with the gate installation. This requires some muscle strength. This is stated in the instructions and there is a sticker on the gate, but it's worth repeating. The bottom rung of the gate frame is a few inches off the ground, so you have to step over the rung each time you go through the gate. You can no longer push a wheelchair, walker, stroller, or shopping cart through the gate once it is installed. So keep this in mind when choosing a location for this gate if any of the mentioned items will be used in your home. A house. This is truly the best gate I have ever seen and bought. Solid, durable, relatively easy to install. A light press on the thumb button opens the flap and ensures a secure closure. We bought it for a door to keep the big bread pup out of a high traffic area for daily use. No problem with the gate, knob, latch or door after a month of use. Excellent purchase.
