Mostly good but not perfect

I got this gate because I needed something to hold the wide window area to protect my small dog from accidentally jumping out the window which he likes guarded. It works for my purposes, but if you have this to protect a toddler running at full speed, they probably won't be able to stay still. The materials correspond to the description. The instructions are written strangely, but it's easy to assemble. I really think it's overpriced but unfortunately this window screen was the only one I could find that fits my window.
