Review on Kai 5165 2 Inch Sewing Scissor by Barbara Simmons

Attached are photos of what is advertised and what I received. "Made in Japan" is a selling point for me, so it's disappointing to get a product that wasn't made where advertised. It's hard to say whether it's really Kai's scissors. However, they appear to be well made. Smooth ride, very sharp and the steel feels as hard as other Kays I have. Perhaps they are made under the supervision of Japanese quality control engineers. Americans, Japanese and other countries are doing it with good results - for example, Apple's Chinese manufacturing plants. Time will tell if they have the same durability as the other two Kai shears I own. The manufacturer should check the image they use to advertise this product and clearly state "Made in Japan" on one of the blades.
