Love these scissors

I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of maneuverability when I saw the size of these scissors; maybe because they don't have the "smooth" look of some of my other scissors. But oh boy! I was always ready for a surprise! Maneuverability? No problem! The weight and balance of these shears are very good and actually contribute to really great maneuverability which is extremely important to me. Kai Schere cannot be defeated!

After trying almost every brand of scissors from cheap to outrageously expensive and talking to dozens of others who use scissors for crafting and sewing, I gave Kai a try. These scissors cut like butter. This is the pair of scissors I keep close by for cutting and trimming small parts. It's a good size and great for general use. I pull out a small or large pair of scissors when I am working on large or small projects for a long time. I bought these for a friend and she can work long hours on…

Pros
  • Popular for all sewing and quilting projects
Cons
  • I'll text back

Attached are photos of what is advertised and what I received. "Made in Japan" is a selling point for me, so it's disappointing to get a product that wasn't made where advertised. It's hard to say whether it's really Kai's scissors. However, they appear to be well made. Smooth ride, very sharp and the steel feels as hard as other Kays I have. Perhaps they are made under the supervision of Japanese quality control engineers. Americans, Japanese and other countries are doing it with good results…

Pros
  • Soft, comfortable, rubberized finger rests
Cons
  • Damaged
