Review on πŸ”§ Huepar Level 360Β°: Advanced Three Plane Self-Leveling Tool with Enhanced Connectivity by Robert Yates

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Save time and buy THIS laser!

I seem to have written a review once in the last 5 years. This is the second. I held out until I had some money to buy a Dewalt 3 line laser because I've used it and I know it works and I know it will hold up pretty well. Until recently, I didn't need a laser, so it was easy to put off buying $500 for a black and yellow machine. Now that I need one and still can't afford to drop 5 bills I've looked elsewhere. I've never heard of Huepar and there aren't enough reviews for this model for me to buy comfortably, so I was very reluctant to spend $200 on this laser. I'm a plumber by trade and use these lasers for work so I need to know I'm buying a quality tool that will last. There were a few reviews from sellers that encouraged me to take a risk. I was very nervous that I wasted my money. came until today. I like a lot about this laser. After unwrapping my new gift. a toy. Instrument I was pleased to see that it appears to be quite solidly made. I wouldn't use it as a soccer ball on my lunch break, but it seems like it will hold up to most normal wear and tear from the building process I will be using it for. I also got an LR-6RG laser receiver for it. With partly cloudy skies I was able to test it in relative shade and direct sunlight and get the laser up to 40-50 feet before hitting my fence line. It's fine for 99% of what I use it for. The app definitely needs some work, but it works as advertised. There are a few things I would like to see differently, but they don't affect how I feel about this product. First, it would be nice to have a dedicated charger and be able to buy extra batteries. I love the flexibility with the power supply this laser offers, so having a dedicated charger isn't just a matter of convenience. The black and yellow counterpart does not offer this. The second thing I'd like to see differently is a mild annoyance rather than an inconvenience. That's the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5. A hard case instead of the included soft case would make a huge difference in protecting my laser. In my line of business, the better protected my tools are, the longer they will last. Despite my sophistication, the soft case is designed to protect this laser with reasonable care. Again, don't use it to take pictures after work. All in all, this seems to be a pretty well built laser. The bar is clean. The magnet seems strong enough for what I will be using it for. The convenience of different power sources and the ability to make adjustments to the application without touching the laser (I can't tell how many times I've spent 10 minutes reconfiguring the laser because I ran into it when changing beams. ARGH! ) were really important selling points for me. No it's not yellow and black but I think this laser will compete with Dewalt at about half the price. We little kids can have cool toys that work well too!

Pros
  • βœ”οΈ 3 X 360 MULTIFUNCTIONAL LASER TOOL: One 360Β° horizontal plane and two 360Β° vertical planes allow the user to cover floor, wall and ceiling throughout the room. The three laser lines can be individually selected depending on the construction site application. With our intelligent pendulum system, this laser level self-levels and displays off-level status when the pendulum is unlocked. Once the pendulum is locked, it switches to manual mode to lock the lines for use at any angle.
Cons
