Rather uncomfortable to use

I bought this rechargeable type with its own water box because I didn't have an outlet or space on my sink for a larger tank. this. Obviously this has a learning curve. The first time I used it, my hands and clothes got wet. I then tried holding it in a towel, which kept me dry but was also uncomfortable. I know I'm a clumsy bum, but it's hard to get it at the right angle to reach your gums without water spilling out of the chamber. So far I've only used it on a less powerful setting because I need to resolve a positional issue before worrying about performance. Filling the chamber is also awkward as the water spills out when filling and I can't tilt it properly to fill it completely. All I can do is hurry again before the water runs out. I love the feeling of cleaning particles between my teeth, especially after eating. Maybe in time I'll learn to use it more effectively. For me it was a waste of money, but I couldn't afford better.

Pros
  • CLINICALLY PROVEN: Removes up to 99.9% plaque from treated areas, up to 50% more effective than floss for improving gum health and up to 3 times more effective than floss at removing plaque around braces - accepted by the American Dental Association (ADA)
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
