Various advantages: Good noise cancellation. It is fully capable of competing with the hum of the engines and the road when it is used in public transportation, including on an airplane. Excellent sound. Even when the noise cancellation and built-in audio post-processing features are not functioning, the sound quality is still excellent. This is made possible by the ability to connect headphones through a wire, which does not take any battery power. The earcups have a comfortable fit, but not one that completely blocks out ambient noise. Its cons: There is no way to change the volume on the headphones themselves when the small jack is used as the connection method. When the headphones are dropped around the user's neck, pausing the playback may not always operate. The touchpad does not always read motions accurately, and it is not very useful for "carefree" control in general. There is a potentially painful pressure on the eardrum caused by the noise canceling function, therefore it may not be appropriate for everyone.
