This was exactly what I was looking for. Fits my boy - 8 years old 55 inches and 63 pounds. He hates the stiff cotton chinos that most uniform pants wear. In his opinion, they are very comfortable and dry quickly. After trying them on after school, he decided to wear them instead of his favorite basketball shorts for the rest of the evening. The legs are a bit narrower, so a body-hugging fit is important. See fig.
