Other reviewers are right, the new lock feature is definitely good! Oh my god you can buy this whole pump kit on Amazon for only $20 more than a repair kit. What offer! Admittedly, this kit is pretty much a replacement for the Jabsco heads and immediately caught my attention. I bought mine here on Amazon and ran to the boat, installed it in 15 minutes (put on rubber gloves, you'll thank me later) and smiled every time I flushed and it really went away - my old pump was stuck. um, do more. Now we are not fat, fat people who constantly eat greasy food and use the toilet on the boat all day. Heck we only sleep on the boat 1 night a week and maybe that night we'll even be at the boat club which has nice bathrooms in the clubhouse that we will use instead of the boat. For the rest of the week the boat lies happily at my dam enjoying a week's rest before next weekend. My point is that we do not use/abuse the Jabsco head in any way or form. Heck, we even rinse it with white vinegar from time to time, as Jabsco recommends. The? Yes. Deletes the joker valve. You see, I have a lot of good advice. I bought head lube from West Marine and use it maybe once a month. I mean, I really care about this thing because if you need it, it has to "really" work. Especially if you have relatives of relatives or a boss etc. Back to the Jabsco 29090 series replacement pump kit. I've been using it for 3 months and now the dry flush handle pushes me back like it has back pressure and water comes out of the piston assembly of the metal rod! What the hell? This is of course Revane's earlier return policy and it's just my luck. I called Jabsco (now a different company) and they sent me a new one as per their warranty policy. I no longer have confidence in this device. My original Jabsco pump lasted 16 years. This lasted 3 months. A little perspective for you. Let the buyer be alert.
