Review on 🎡 Oakcastle BX200 Boombox, Portable CD Player and FM Radio with Bluetooth Stereo Speakers and Multi-Connection Capability by Tonya Young

Very good CD player and radio for the price

I was invited to try the Oakcastle portable CD player and radio because I bought a small Oakwood Bluetooth player for my car. I was pleasantly surprised by this device. The player is small, attractive and easy to use. The sound is clear and loud, but the bass isn't as strong as we'd like. Strong bass is of course not what you would expect for the price. Out of curiosity, I ordered a SONY CD player at twice the price to compare and decide which one to keep. The SONY device was ok, but didn't cost twice as much. Even with the so-called bass bragging, the device could not convince me. I sent SONY back and kept Oakcastle. The attached pictures show two players. One of my favorite features of this turntable is the red LED display. The display allows the user to more easily control all aspects of the device. I find the display comfortable to look at and use. The radio picks up my local stations better than other radios I own which was another unexpected surprise. The device comes with a three-year warranty, which is pretty unusual, but you'll need to sign up with Oakcastle to get this benefit. When I ordered this CD player I was hoping it would play my CDs loud and clear. Tracking old CDs was an issue as I had other devices including the BOSE Wave radio which had issues with some CDs. This unit has played perfectly everything I've loaded into the player so far. I have to say it met my expectations for this date! Try it!
