My relatives have been living with us for some time, as have their two VERY barking dachshunds. Especially the fat man we call Meatloaf loves to bark in the air, which of course makes him move like my own dog (which isn't an annoying bark). Dachshunds mostly stay in the wash due to my son's allergy (not my Havanese allergy). So I bought it to use in the laundry. The thing worked right away. They noticed and kept testing and eventually got MUCH quieter. Sure, they'll bark every now and then because they can't help it, but that doesn't last long. I have to put another one on for the backyard because when they leave Meatloaf can't stop barking at little things and drives all the other dogs crazy. I will most likely buy one for the garden. But at the moment everything is quiet in our house. I have to say when my own mum was here last weekend to watch our baby and dogs she was constantly fiddling with the light switch and when we came back the dogs seemed to have regressed a bit. But I'm working on retraining them. gotta keep going Maybe I just need to change the batteries which are almost two weeks old. It is definitely an effective remedy. A NOTICE. I try not to yell or hit out as sometimes WE can provoke it which is unfair to the dogs.
