using this with high quality full synthetic oil I can drive 5000+ miles on my oil and still have a clean "honey colored" oil color. 1998 4.3 Chevrolet C-10. I've tried other premium filters, some cost twice as much, but none of them can match the Ultra protection. I don't understand why all oil filters aren't made like this. 16 years of ownership, 170,000 miles and it purrs like the day I bought it. Not only have I had this truck for 16 years, I'm embarrassed to admit that I drive like a bat out of hell most of the time, shhh. THANK YOU DECO! delco missed the chance to stop advertising these filters. The only reason I even knew they existed was an accidental find at PepBoys in 1999.
