Great value, perfect solution

I ordered this for a 24" front tine Craftsman cultivator that I bought at a flea market a few years ago. its fuel tank, which corroded the original carburetor to the point where it stopped working. I could probably clean the original, but not easily enough to convince myself that this new one isn't that great. I have some experience with small engines. but I am by no means an expert. I've removed/cleaned/reinstalled the original carburetor several times since I bought the router so I knew the schematics. This new one only took a few minutes to assemble and install including replacing fuel lines and draining the old one completely, stale water contaminated petrol out of the fuel tank, new ethanol free petrol in the tank, a few minutes to drain into the carburetor, and the tiller literally jumped on first time. pulling ropes - something he had never done for me before. I've only used it twice since then, but it started and ran like new. Very happy with the carburettor itself. I'm deducting a star because the gasket included in the kit between the carburetor and the air filter doesn't fit. The two main holes through which the mounting screws go through the filter housing and into the carburetor are OK. But there is a small vent hole on the top right of the carburetor inlet and the included gasket will cover that hole. So I had to trim and shape the spacer a bit so it didn't get in the way. I think the carburetor design was changed at some point and it looks like they never updated that gasket to fit. Spacer that was already on my tiller. If I wasn't careful and put the new one in place of the old one, the mounting bolts would be too long and the carburetor wouldn't fit snugly on the engine. So watch out for old parts that you may need to reuse. In my opinion, for less than twenty dollars, it was impossible to ask for anything better.
