As far as electronics for engine control systems in vehicles go, I would recommend factory parts over the aftermarket unless you are building a high performance car with more expensive components. Mainly air mass meter and fuel pumps. This new mass airflow sensor gave me part throttle acceleration back, eliminating the chug and needing to accelerate harder to create unnecessary downshifts. My old flow meter was off just long enough for the computer to think it was sucking in less air than it was actually sucking in, but within parameters. But he set the code from time to time because it didn't match the other sensors. The computer didn't exactly know the load on the transmission, so under hard acceleration, say on a trailer ramp, upshifting after I hit cruising speed was very jerky, almost like a street shift kit in an old Chevy TH350. The new air mass meter created harmony and all these problems are now gone.
