Replaced Aftermarket Sensor

This Mass Air Flow Sensor is a Delphi product and will meet your expectations. While on vacation, the OEM Delphi sensor started sending out a code. I stopped at a parts store and bought a replacement part that was a little cheaper. It took a full 5 months before I got the code back. After reading several forums and talking to mechanics I found that the way to fix this is to go back to the Delphi product. A little internet searching found this one a lot cheaper than the local auto parts store…

Pros
  • Hands Free Operation
Cons
  • Unbelievable Price

Having been struggling with poor and erratic engine performance on my 8.1 liter Vortec V8 for my Workhorse Chassis RV, I installed this Mass Air Flow Sensor and the problem seems to have been resolved. Unlike before, the engine now revs up nice and clean, as it should without hesitation. Wow what a difference. Although I was initially a little confused by the part number on the packaging and not the number on the part itself, I called Delphi and made sure it was still the correct part. Instead…

Absolutely perfect, buy this for a hassle free replacement OEM

You can pay less for Chinese bullshit and get upset when 80% of it doesn't work or fail prematurely, or you can spend a little more and just settle your problem solve. I didn't even dare to call my original part bad. I got the code and checked the engine light maybe once a month, otherwise everything worked. Replaced by this new Delphi part and no more code for a few months. My original factory part was also a Delphi and lasted 250,000 miles. I expect it to be the same. This makes it a better…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Should have bought this for the first time

I had a bad maf last year and dropped in price and bought a Chinese fake at 1/3 the price. Everything was fine for about 4 months and bam I got more MAF codes. Checked and in fact I had another bad maf but only 4000 miles on this one. The OEM Maf had 265,000 miles, the replacement had 4000. Not really worth the time and money wasted IMO. This time I got this one and immediately I see that the quality differs only in the exposed components. OEM quality goes without saying and should be…

Easy Repair For Your P0101 Code!

P0101 DTC, rough idle, strong exhaust smell. That was the renovation! 10 minutes to install. All I needed was a universal screwdriver. I did a test ride or two to burn off the deposits in my cat converter but it worked almost immediately. I no longer get 0101 codes and would recommend this to another brand. A direct comparison between this and the OEM proves that they are identical in every way! My old one was bad but still looked clean, apparently they are failing due to non-pollution related…

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Fair value

Factory Spec Air Flow Sensor is changing the world

As far as electronics for engine control systems in vehicles go, I would recommend factory parts over the aftermarket unless you are building a high performance car with more expensive components. Mainly air mass meter and fuel pumps. This new mass airflow sensor gave me part throttle acceleration back, eliminating the chug and needing to accelerate harder to create unnecessary downshifts. My old flow meter was off just long enough for the computer to think it was sucking in less air than it…

Exact OEM replacement for Silverado 2500HD 4x4 6.0L 2004 2500HD 4x4 6.0L

Brand new unit, it is exactly the same as my original which I took out and has lasted 13 years and 140,000 miles. Also a simple fix, first disconnect the negative battery post, then loosen a couple of ribbon clamps and disconnect the wiring harness. Pull out old Delphi box (original equipment manufacturer), insert new one, tighten clamps, reconnect wiring harness and battery negative pole. It's a good idea to clean the airbox before installation and replace the air filter while you're there…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design

Problems P0171 and P0172 solved

I have a 2001 Chevrolet Suburban with 287,000 miles on it. For the past 2+ years we've had ping issues and sluggish acceleration. In recent months, since early summer, we have started noticing lean burn CEL codes on both the left and right banks. This condition usually indicates a vacuum leak and we have resolved these issues by replacing the intake manifold gaskets, EGR tubes and gaskets and the exhaust gaskets based on an extensive smoke test which found leaks in all of these areas. While…
