I ordered this for my mother in law who gets 5 gallons of water from her local shop and lugs them around town - £40 each. I've tried to persuade her to install a reverse osmosis system under her sink, but she doesn't want to waste space or drill an extra hole in the countertop for the faucet. It was perfect for her situation! It took me a full hour to install this and it involved removing (many) items from under her sink to get to the waterline. Now all their cold water is filtered for drinking, cooking, etc. She loves that she no longer has to carry heavy pitchers and turn down filtered water when pitchers run out. I'll just order her a filter every year to keep her calm. Less than $100 for each filter change is a significant saving over the $20 she spends on water every month.
