The original bearing lasted 110,000 miles but the replacement only lasted 4,000. The factory bearing was replaced with a Timken bearing in April 2015, which started making noise in October 2015. Luckily, all the rusted nuts and bolts are already loosened, so the job should be easier this time. UPDATE 08/11/16. Another will be crushed to dust. The same bearing failed again, but. It could have been an installation error where the axle nut wasn't tightened to 203 ft-lbs. one more chance Luckily the other side eventually failed so I will be reliving the nightmare of replacing one of these bearings with 100k+ miles on them!
