I wear trousers with a waist of 38-40 and XXL fits perfectly in these shorts. In terms of size, they are the best of the three different bike brands. i have shorts Fits lightly, fits snugly - the way it's meant to be, and gives enough flex when you move. I really like the pockets as I have found I can put my phone in my back and forget I'm carrying it. My wife and I can drive and grab a bite to eat, no pannier etc. Good. On the other hand, these shorts seem to be the least soft I have. I've driven it 30 miles and feel it in the seat more than other brands. It's not terrible or unbearable, it just could be better - as others prove. Will probably buy again - unless others add pockets!
