Shoes don't fit!

I bought these shoes expecting that they would be waterproof and non-slip as advertised. When I received these shoes, the first impression was that the QUALITY is not that good. The seams have come undone in some areas of the shoe. The inner lining is not stitched very well where part of the foam rubber is sticking out. As can be seen in the photo I posted. But then I risked it because I love the style and it's very comfortable for my son who can't tie his laces yet. My son went to school in these boots for the first time and came home complaining that he slipped and fell to his knees. I can't believe it myself maybe my son is just inattentive and not because of the shoes. I did my own research, I splashed water on the floor and found the sole just slipped and had no grip. I also found that they are not waterproof as advertised due to splashing water on the shoes. But not much and I felt it on the inside of the shoe. Well, I'm definitely returning them. They look really good and feel comfortable in everyday use, but I need their functionality. because I splashed water on the shoes. But not much and I felt it on the inside of the shoe.
